The Opinion Of the Voter

Well we are heading in to election season and everyone is all fired up about their voting choices. People can be so passionate about what they believe to be right, that sometimes they forget that the core essence of America, is that we all have the right, to be "right". I have been accused of being dispassionate and even apathetic when it comes to politics, gaining years, I have gained experience. I have learned that just because I have been given a label, that doesn't mean I have to wear it especially if it doesn't fit. I can make my own fashion choices.

It is not that I am dispassionate about politics, I just view it as another choice in life that I need to make. When I go to the grocery store I have to decide whether to have chicken or beef for dinner. I weigh the information, cost, other ingredients or preparations I might need, health, cravings and so on. Once I have made my choice, I do not feel the need to make sure the next shoppers follow my lead. Chicken or beef? Both are good choices, maybe I just have a preference for chicken as it offers more of the qualities I am looking for, its healthy, leftovers save well for lunches, it is easy to prepare. This doesn't mean I need to start an online campaign against beef. I don't need to go on Facebook and warn all of my friends and Family that beef is the meat of the devil. I don't need to tell my fellow shoppers that the beef is the wrong choice as it is less healthy and is hard for the body to digest. What is true for me and my choice for chicken may not be the same for others. What if the shopper is anemic? And her nutritionist has recommended that she consume iron rich beef? Well then how is it my place to push chicken on her?

Voting is the same for me in this way. I feel that I have the same access to the same information that every one does and that I can make my own decision. By the same token, I think that every one has the same information that I have access to and that they can make their own decisions. It isn't up to me to do the campaigning, unless of course they hire my company to help them with their campaign. But my personal help isn't required, it is our politicians duty to present us with the information that we need to make the choice that we believe is right. If you are a politician then you should absolutely campaign and make speeches and teach our communities what you stand for and how you can serve us to the best of your ability. I am not saying that the general public should remain completely uninvolved, if someone asks you for information, or holds you in high esteem and asks your opinion to help form your own then, of course you should inform them. Keep in mind, to inform is different than to manipulate or create bias. If you truly believe in a candidate then donate money to their campaign, it is not up to you to represent them, but that doesn't mean you can't assist them.

I realize that politics is much more involved than this and honestly I think that is where some of the biggest hindrances lie. The current system is really not conducive to the education of the general population, it seems to be a game played by the masters, who sway the unknowing. I cant seem to find a purpose for this game, as it seems that no one actually wins, and nothing ever really seems to be happening, but then I realize it all must be about power and money. Power I have no use for as I am very aware of the strain and accountability it comes with which I have never been able to ignore. And money, although it is quite  useful , much of it has never really made it to me so I have no blood lust for it. Maybe this is why the purpose of the game eludes me. It is quite impossible to be a competitor in a game that has no interest for you.

If I have a passionate voice to say anything it is this, educate yourself, ask questions, then question the answers. Make your own choice and foster the practice that allows everyone else maintain their right to make theirs. We are all Americans, United States Citizens, respect our individual rights to make our vote for our choice.

Does fear drive away your logic?

Now I love the out doors, but recently I have been presented with several problems facing me and my journeys through out the Southern Oregon Wilderness. First of all there is poison oak everywhere, now if that evil and rampant plant could be harvested as a resource for any purpose, then this area would be rich for it. It is everywhere and in massive quantities! I can only really see one possibility, perhaps we could use it as some sort of weapon, just send any opposing armies bouquets of the horrible stuff, and they would be so itchy I am sure surrender would be inevitable! I did not intend to add that ranty bit, but I am still quite a bit bitter about my last encounter with that specific evil. To get back to the subject problem number two is that although I find the lakes and their settings beautiful, I have an irrational fear of dark deep water. I say irrational because I believe I have a very logical brain. I try to see all the logical angles of any argument and I am a methodical problem solver by nature. I understand fear is an emotional response that is meant to protect us from danger, fear is what motivates our fight or flight instincts to get ourselves out of the danger zone. How ever irrational fear is something else entirely. Once I am in the dark water of a lake and have no idea where the bottom is in relevance to myself I start to have this very panicy feeling and the floodgates of my imagination burst filling my logical brain with ludicrous theories of dead bodies and large underwater dwelling creatures who have a taste for swimming legs. My brother once said to me "Why does the thought of dead bodies in the lake bother you? They are dead, what are they going to do to you?" The logic of this floored me for a second and I thought , wow he is right! Then the moment of reason was over and I am still terrified of the thought. No matter how I have tried to talk myself down from this, I cant bear it and I swim for the shore as fast as my flailing doggy paddleing skills will take me there. I have no base for this fear, that I know of, other than maybe I watch too much T.V. I have never seen a dead body in the lake, not once, I also have never been chomped on by underwater monsters other than maybe a few trout nibbles. Also in a lake full of people, why would I be the one that would get munched?  I have also never seen a lake monster or met or heard any credible stories of someone being lake monster food. So there is no reason for my fear, and I can tell myself that as many times as I want to, it doesn't ever seem to help.
I always use the term irrational fear because phobia seems like some kind of mental diagnosis to me and I don't feel like I live my life incapacitated in any way. I would however like to not have that choking fear feeling because going to the lake with the family is a very common fun thing to do in the summer. So I did some research oh how irrational fear forms and I found a few tips on how to treat your phobia. Now I cant remember an event in my childhood that would trigger this learned fear, and as I stated earlier I have had no current traumatic experiences either. However just because I cant trace the origin of this fear does not mean I have to live with it. I am going to give these tips a try, and if you have some fears that you could do with out you should as well!

#1. Face your Fear one step at a time. This sounds easy enough, avoidance wont eliminate the problem. perhaps familiarity with the lake and water will help me to feel less anxiety. I have heard it said before that people fear most that which they don't know. And to be honest, I don't know with out a doubt that there are no dead bodies in the lake, but if there is why is it so darn scary?

#2. Learn Some relaxation techniques. This is a good one! I have never been scared and relaxed at the same time, so this must work. Deep breathing and self affirmations are probably a great start.

#3. Challenge negative thoughts. Ok this seems like a good idea and one I haven't actually tried before. I challenge the validity of most things. Things I hear in the news, random nonsensical conspiracy theories, the weather prediction on my phone, my relation to certain pea-brained siblings (just kidding you know i love you guys!). So why not challenge a negative thought as it is about to envelope me in panic?

For more information about these tips and to learn about phobias and fear, there is a ton of stuff out there but I got my info from this site, check it out  its pretty helpful. http://www.helpguide.org/mental/phobia_symptoms_types_treatment.htm

So my solution to conquering the Southern Oregon wilderness in all of its beauty has been a strict after hiking de-contamination protocol, and to buy a lovingly used, ugly canoe! I may not be able to get rid of my fear, but I can find ways around it!! Roy and I took the Canoe out on the lake on Friday for the first time. We chose Howard Prairie Lake, terrible Idea!!! Neither one of us had been there and it turns out there is enough wind there for it to be a regular area for sailing, not to mention it was huge!!! So we manage to get the canoe off of the jeep together, and get it put in to the lake. As we were navigating and rowing out of the marina dodging giant sail boats, I had a moment of panic. I thought "OMG what if I hate canoeing!" I turned to Roy and said, "this is kind of scary"
After a bit of gentle re-assuring I was calmed down and in paddle mode. As it turns out having a little bit of canoe between me and the lake does help quite a bit. So this is my first step in facing my deep dark lake fear. Next Time I go out I will work more on the relaxation and affirmetions and challenging my negative thoughts!

Being a better Blogger!

I am wanting to take my blog more seriously! I have redesigned and very optimistic about it! I always say this but I am committed to trying to write about my adventures as much as actually having the adventures! I need to make more time to immortalize my amazing escapades! So I am committed to get over this tremendously itchy poison oak that I got two weeks ago while picking up litter on a hike, and I am going to the pair blossom festival! It is this weekend, I am going to take lots pics and I am going to have an adventurous story to tell!

Thinking about the future!

School has started! I am about 2 weeks in and so far having a great time, mostly. I forgot how adorable/annoying young college students can be when they are just figuring out how to practically use their new found knowledge. Trying to use the new large words they have just learned in every day sentences even if they don't quite fit, well at least they are giving it some effort! There is always a different atmosphere in each class and I am finding my favorite to be my online classes. It could be students are less reserved behind a computer rather than a desk. The best discussions are in my weird science class. I am really enjoying this class! Critical thinking and psuedoscience, it is questioning everything we have learned to believe and it is giving us a chance to re-evaluate our thinking!

My film and humanities class is fun but I don't think I will ever become a film critic, I love movies too much! I even find the flaws to be endearing in ways because they mirror the flaws in humanity. I might enjoy the independent soulful movies in a different way than the hit-em-hard blockbusters, but i can still enjoy the latter for the little thrill it gives me and the rush of sensory overload I experience while watching it. I guess the only movies I don't watch or can't enjoy are the overly sadistic horror films those are just not for me. I seem to mostly relate to the love stories these days as my life seems to be folding out into one.

Short blog for today! But I will check back in soon regarding my garden, it is surely growing and growing!

I just finished a super great book, called The honey Book.

It went over the different historical importance of honey and how our knowledge of bees has evolved to where we are now able to keep them and harvest they honey for its yummy sweet goodness! My interest in bees started when Roy and I decided we wanted to try Mead, honey wine, So we went to the store and we couldn't find it, then we tried a couple other places and had no luck there either. It seemed so strange to us that one of the oldest forms of alcohol was not very easy to come by! So then Roy and I got to thinking, Well why couldn't we make our own mead?
So we Googled it of course and we found that it seemed like it would be quite easy to make! the only thing is that it takes about 6 months to a year to ferment, knowing that we decided we would want to make a large batch. We figured it would probably be delicious and we would most likely be bummed if we had to wait another 6 months to have more, so this means we needed quite a bit of honey and as it turns out honey is very expensive! So we thought maybe it would be great to have our own bee hive. So we have been gathering some info here and there and that is why I just read the honey book.  I really learned quite a bit actually!

So we do have a future goal and are hoping very much to cultivate a hive and make some honey! After learning about how bees make honey and how industrious they are I just really have a new respect for what honey is and now I am so excited start a hive with Roy!

Joan Jett and the Black hearts!!!!!

So I saw Joan Jett and the black hearts last evening and it was pretty awesome! Such an amazing experience that I never expected! First of all thank you thank you to my amazing and wonderful boyfriend Roy! He knew I would love to go see the show and so he made the arrangements and it was really quite an amazing show!
Joan Jett is 44 yrs young and still rockin it like a boss! Her show was so awesome and entertaining, she sounded great and was really energetic! When she got on stage it was so exciting and the second she opened with bad reputation and I heard her voice I was just taken over. She had this huge voice, coming out of her small frame and some how it just managed to fill all of the empty space. Truly an experience of a lifetime!

I am embarking on a new journey! I am going back to School! I guess I have been feeling the urge to finish up my associates degree but I needed a little encouragement! And by little I mean it really didn't take much! Just an its-in-your-best-interest "suggestion" from my friends parents who think of me as their adopted mexican daughter to convince me that I really should do it, and now I cant wait for August 15th and the start of classes!!! I stopped going to school about 3 years ago, I was just so tired of supporting my self and focusing on my studies and my life needed some work. But now I am so excited because I feel like I am in a great place. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is so supportive and great and loving to me. And I have a great friend in Ally that I can be open with and rely on! I will try to be more academic in my endeavor to blog!

The allure of something new

One of the wonderful things about this world is that it is never too hard to find a new experience. All you really have to do is look around for it. This world is so big and diverse and full of wonder, I love to scout out new adventures that I can cherish and remember! If I would just be a little better about memorializing them in my blog I would be content. The great thing about this blog is that being here on the internet I can access it anywhere and wont misplace it under the bed like I have with various journals and diaries. Also unless the internet vanishes due to some crazy nerd apocalypse my words are stored here in virtual memory.
The thing that is even better than experiencing new things is having someone to share them with. It is so wonderful to have a partner in crime to go gallivanting with, It not only brings companionship but also a new perspective and way to experience things. So I am excited to embark on my future adventures with a man that  I love and trust and is ready and willing to explore the whole world with me.
So this is a continuation of an introduction to Roy, he is wonderful and full of life and a wonderful part of the Dixie experience!

Some things that go up, Just wont come down!
I just spent the last two days shouting up a tree, at a very scared and stubborn kitten! I have a fondness for most every little furry creature that crosses my path, maybe not the scavenger types that carry diseases, but definitely the domesticated little sweets that I call my pets! However it seems that my affections and well performance in my duties to Nermals care were not enough to persuade her to behave. I have always had a hard time dealing with the hardship of my pets, but this was especially terrible! Poor little Nermal was stuck 45 feet up a tree for two days, one of which was particularly stormy and wet! I had been calling her and she was responding but I couldn't quite tell where the meowing was coming from. I eventually got a call from the humane society, a woman had called because there was a kitten in her tree, and they tracked me down! When I got there she was only about 20 feet up the tree, I hurried home and changed out of my stockings and into my tree climbing outfit. I got about 15 feet up, and Nermal started going up further. I didn't think I could get any higher safely since I don't seem to have enough upper body strength. The women from the Humane society were so helpful and supportive and wonderful! I really appreciate everything that they did for me and little Nermal!
After being in the tree for two days nermal did not come down, she just kept going up! We tried calling the fire department but that turned out to be completely un-helpful! The only response that we got from them was that you don't never find a cat skeleton in a tree. Very un-helpful, and insensitive! So the wonderful ladies called North State Tree Service and they sent a hero up the tree he climbed nearly to the tip top! He was very sweet to little nermal, he managed to snag her and secure her in a bag that he lowered down! Nermal and I were so grateful to him! When i got her in the house and out of the bag, she was so happy! She started purring immediately and she went and knocked her food bowl over. She was all skinny and starving! I was so happy when i help her close and cuddled her to me she smelled like a pine tree! No wonder since she was covered in tree sap!
Now she has been sleeping all day and eating so much! she is very happy to be home, thank you so much Mr. Hero!

My thoughts on the matter

I started writing this letter a couple years ago with a couple of friends, and I recently just added the finishing touches. I thought I would post it and see if there is any kind of response. Also I realized I have been doing more advertising for this blog than I am making it worth. So this is just an effort from me to give you all something more to read!

Endeavor Talent Agency

Subject: Ray Liotta

To the endeavor talent agency, I send this plea. Stop. Please stop. Stop finding and fielding work for Ray Liotta. How much more can you subject us to his Flat Transparent acting? Its awful. Not only does his face inspire nausea, but the ridiculous color of his obviously fake tan makes any character he plays lose credibility. Ray Liotta is an undeniable offender to the American audience. While a good villain is essential in endearing the hero of a movie Ray Liotta’s over-acting causes such annoyance that the hero is hardly even noticed. So aside from over-stimulating the audiences gag reflex by offering non-stop tirades delivered by a pumpkin colored amateur, there is really no point in torturing the world with the visual atrociousness of his face.

P.S. I never actually sent this letter, because its pretty rude, and even though this is how i feel I am sure that looking in the mirror every morning is harsh enough for Mr. Liotta.

Its a new year!

Its a new year and I am excited, I have decided that as a new years resolution, I am going to be committed! Not in the HaHa-we-always-knew-you-were-crazy kind of way, but in a resolute and determined way to be committed to a standard of awesomeness. And the most important aspect of this commitment is to be MORE awesome than I was last year. Those of you who know me will say, whoa there, is that even possible? And this is what I will tell you, we will never know unless I give it a try! So importantly enough, this blog of mine needs more of a commitment from me, I will be determined to focus more time and energy on this blog that is the update central for the awesomeness that I exude. I want it to be a place that epicly describes and chronicles my awesomeness and the effects of my awesomeness! So if there are any comments or suggestions to help me in my commitment to being more awesome than ever, please leave them here for me! It is a time for planning and scheming, we are all facing a new year with new possibilities! I hope you all have grand adventures in mind, because with all the mystery surrounding 2012, who knows whats around the corner. Weather our time is limited by the impending doom of the  shallow foresight of the aztec calendar, or by the ending that we all eventually reach being that we are all mortal in this life, I believe that life seems not long enough, if you don't have plenty of adventures!

Holiday parties can be so delightful!

Ally, Dixie and Anna
Last night a couple of my gal pals and I went to a holiday Christmas party, and it was quite the night. The party was hosted by a company that offers services to the doctors in the area where I live, since I work with these doctors I am also invited to the party. Of course when we go out we spare no effort in out attire, the gals and I were sharply dressed and looking great.  This is definitely the most fun part! Aside from the small group of people that I go with I don’t really know anyone else there, so there ends up being quite a lot more entertainment than the hired DJ.  One of my favorite things to do at a party like this is people watch. And there was an array of interesting behavior and attire.

Now, we have all gone to a holiday party at some time or another and there is always that person that seems to have been drinking too much, or sometimes we are the person who has been drinking way too much, but either way it isn’t a true holiday till there is someone dancing on the table or falling off their seat.  We can only hope that someone is taking pictures or video for those who accidentally drank enough to cloud or eliminate their memory functions. I did take a few pictures last night, but I didn’t manage to waste any digital film on the drunken entertainment, I just took a few to get some proof about how great we looked.
Last night we saw a  girl who resembled a drunk bunny rabbit, a guy who did a crotch grab while he was break dancing and the girl whose breast were very, well they were just huge, I don’t have anything clever to say, and everyone was staring at them not just me. I thought she would possibly give herself or one of us a black eye while she was bouncing around on the dance floor. Which happened to be a very dangerous place, not only did you have to watch out for rouge mega boobs flying at you , but there was also the guy who had to do the electric slide, but the opposite direction that everyone else was doing it. So while we were all watching our feet trying to get the steps down, all of a sudden you would be getting run over by a large man who didn’t seem to realize he was going the wrong way.

We actually saw a guy in a Rastafarian beanie and some sort of silk smock looking out fit, very interesting! He seemed to like the cherry cobbler. My favorite outfit of the night was a black sweater and blue jeans and the holiday cheer was found in the tall stripper style platform zebra print boots. In all fairness I was wearing a leopard print dress, so I don’t have much room to talk, how ever, I was trying to decide how the outfit was formulated. Did she just get off of work? Was she wearing the jeans and top and decide, hmmm how can I spruce this out fit up? Or maybe she was dared by a fellow co-worker?  How ever the boots came about, it was awesome!

The ones who really knew what they were doing were the people who just came for the free dinner and drinks, there was no effort in their holiday garb and as soon as the last bite of prime rib was consumed they were no where to be seen! They even ditched before the raffle! Too bad, cause they missed out on limousine rides and blue ray DVD players. After not winning the blue ray player, Ally promptly tells the man who did win it, that too bad the blue ray player will be obsolete soon because everything will be on USB players. Way to be a good sport Ally.
Ally, Dixie, Amy

Being the stars that we are some of us gals decided to do some karaoke, so a couple of us sang some songs and rocked the house, call it conceit, call it narcissism, but we were the best looking and the most fun at the party, we even managed to make a few new friends. So we mingled we drank we ate and we danced, we made polite conversation and we snickered along with the crowd as the drunk girl fell trying to sit in her chair but missing completely. This was the first of hopefully many holiday parties this season, I cant wait for the next event of merriment and intoxication.

I went on a little exploring date with Roy, my number one Oregonian tour guide, and he showed me these way cool rock formations sprouting from the bed of Lake emigrant. They look kind of like pimple rocks pushing out of the crust of the earth. Unfortunately I am no geologist so this is as scientific as my theory gets. Well I have some other theories too but they aren't scientific at all. For instance, what if a family of gophers live below and they got the child gopher a trampoline for a gopher gift giving holiday. After all we cant be sure that gophers celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, it could be some other super cool holiday that people haven't even heard of! We all know that gophers wear hard hats so maybe he just got some really great air and made a couple dents in the ceiling. Okay, the main reason of this gopher tirade is kind of to see if you guys are paying attention.

They lake was drained really low so Roy and I were able to drive the jeep quite a bit of the way. I have complete confidence in Roy's driving skills however we were on quite a steep grade and the sand was very soft. I did panic for a second, well a couple of seconds,  I thought we were going in the lake, I was leaning pretty hard against the grade. Oh and there was mud flying everywhere! I was trying to figure out if I wanted my seat belt on or off? I didn't want to be tumbled around and wind up breaking bones if we rolled, but I also didn't want to get stuck upside down in the water and drown to death because I couldn't disengage the seat belt. Of course I asked this aloud, I was nearly sure I was a goner. My trusty guide and experienced all terrain driver, who is quite the gentleman, assured me that the situation was under control. He was laughing and seemed pretty relaxed, this gave me some comfort. After surviving the treacherous voyage through the valley  of quick sand, we had a nice little walk along the lake we found several very interesting rock formations, they kind of changed shape and pattern and consistency as we walked around. These were the most interesting ones.
Roy thought that these were some kind of volcanically activated rock eruptions. I think that is probably just as likely as my gopher theory. So you guys tell me what you think? Have you seen these kind of rock formations before? Have any insightful theories of your own?  Also thank you Roy for a wonderful adventure and a lovely picnic date.

Today this is how I will cook eggs!

My brother and I woke up today and decided we wanted to make a traditional breakfast of potatoes and eggs.  So we got started and realized we only had enough oil to make the potatoes, or the eggs. A simple solution would have been to go to the store to get more oil. However I was in PJ’s and he having recently turned 21 was hung-over as he is often these days. It seemed we had already decided on a lazy day. So brother started the potatoes and I jokingly suggested using the grilled cheese sandwich maker, but the more I thought about it the better it sounded. So I thought what the hay, I will give it a shot. And it worked! So awesome! Triangle shaped over medium eggs cooked perfectly! And not even a mess, I don’t know if I will ever cook eggs any other way.

After breakfast we watched the movie FROZEN, it was awful! If I didn’t have enough reasons to never go snowboarding I definitely do now...I am just saying, it was awful!

I met a band!

Such nice dudes!
Awesome! So I stopped at the gas station on my way to WEED today and as I was waiting I saw a group of guys get out of an SUV pulling a little U-haul trailer. They had a very specific look about them. I instantly thought “they must be in a band” so while I was sitting in the car, waiting for my passenger to get back, I decided I couldn’t stand not knowing for sure. When my passenger got in the car I asked “don’t they look like they are in a band?” and my mom said “yeah they do.” Ok so the passenger was my mom it kind of makes this story less cool, but what ever!  So I got out of the car and walked over to them. Poor guys probably just wanted to get some coffee. So I asked them and sure enough, it was The Ragged Jubilee, on their way to do a show in Portland they told me. So I pulled out my handy dandy Samsung digital camera with a front LCD screen and snapped this Picture!

So I hadn’t actually heard of them before. So after this chance encounter I googled them. I listened to some of their stuff and I think its pretty good! www.theraggedjubilee.com check it out you guys!

Quality of life diminished by the risk of Cancer

I have been working in the health care industry for two years now, and I may be involved mainly in the front office workings, but I have learned a lot more than how to file records and submit insurance claims. Before I even sat at the reception desk in a doctors office I was prone to have hypochondriac delusions, for instance, the slightest pain in my side and I was sure that my appendix was rupturing and that I was about to die from the inside out. You would think that now, having worked in this field and seeing the rarity of these cases I wouldn't feel the dramatic urge to have my appendix removed before it would inevitably burst and kill me. I have on several occasions referred to my appendix as a ticking time bomb just waiting for me to go on vacation to a remote location with poor medical services and no cell phone range. This is just an example to illustrate how dramatically I value my health. However the only thing that I have found that has diminished my fear of dieing by sepsis due to my devious appendix leaking toxins into my vital organs, is my fear of cancer. It seems that this is a risk I face and the course of prevention is overwhelming!
So working in a wellness center, I am learning new and scary things every day. Once while using chap stick, the Doctor I work for said to me “What are you using? That has petroleum in it, it is toxic that is how you get cancer!” It was normal chap stick that everyone uses! I started wondering about my makeup, my lotions, soaps, hair products. The other day a man came in to the office and told me all about the chemical trails in the sky and how it was saturating our air with aluminum which is toxic. The latest scare I had was about birth control pills, I have been taking them for nine years, the Doctor I work for says that they are full of carcinogens that will give me breast cancer. Of course this is a terrifying thing to hear! I have read studies on both sides of that argument, here is the problem how can both studies be accurate if they say the complete opposite? I was talking to my girlfriend about it and she says “Well then you have two options, cancer or a baby, both are growths that you will have to learn to survive and live with.” Of course this is an awful statement but it has a bit of humor to it.
I am constantly bombarded with this issue as I am sure we all are. We all know someone who has or had cancer and it is a terrible affliction on the world. It seems prevention is key but how many plastic containers do you have to avoid, how much of the smoggy air can we filter, are there toxins in our fabric softener? The questions go on and on! I find myself spending so much time reading labels and questioning my deodorant, and I don’t mean if its doing its job and keeping me from smelling offensively. I feel like my obvious choices of cancer prevention aren’t good enough any more! I don’t smoke, I don’t eat processed foods, I stay away from MSG what ever that is. I don’t play with radiation and I try to avoid anything with a bio hazard symbol on it. I have a predisposition to worry frantically about my health and well being, so working in the healthcare industry has brought to light so many more worries for me! But worry in its self is a stress illness that causes other health problems! Outrageous! So here is the deal, I love fabric softener and I really doubt that something with a cuddly teddy bear as a mascot is going to give me a tumor that eats my insides, and if it does what is my quality of life with out soft fluffy towels? It is the duty of humanity to survive, whether it be black plague or small pox, or the toxins in our Evian bottles. Darwin said It was the survival of the fittest , so only the strongest of us shall survive the torments of the Snuggle Bear and hair gel!

Very first Blog For Me!

I was looking for an opportunity to begin writing and publishing my work, it seems like this should be a great way to start. I have often been told that my humorous view is entertaining while enlightening at the same time. Hopefully I can just relay my usual banter of life and adjust my skills as a writer. I say adjust because I don't necessarily have enough modesty to assume that my skills need improvement. Just a few tweaks here and there to get them more perfect. I am sure my grammar could use the influence of someone who is highly anal to criticize and evaluate every error that I might blunder through. I happen to think that if i make my point in a sequence of words and symbols that is clear to the general audience then I have done well enough. So if you are agitated by my conjugated tense, then I have a rude and naughty proposition for your preposition. Stick it where you like...
I am also hoping this will be a great outlet for me to get some of my devious energy out, because while I am sure that my friends do truly enjoy my rants and raves, I am sure that they need a break.
